This trip is designed for adventurous, hardy travelers, wanting to see more of Laos. Starting with an introduction to the famous Thai kitchen, then overnight train to Northern Thailand, we take you across the Mekong River, through the jungle-clad mountains of Northern Laos to Luang Nam Tha, on the border with China. Here you go an a hike through the Nam Ha Nature Reserve. 

The trip ends in Luang Prabang, one of the gems of Southeast Asia. Here you can visit Kuang Si waterfall where turquoise water on the limestone rock clatters down.

On this program you will travel overland through Thailand and Cambodia – with breaks in Siem Reap and Phnom Penh – all the way to Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon), departure every Tuesday and Saturday.

Visit the famous Floating Market, the Death Railway, go cycling around Chiang Mai, and continue to explore further all the way to Pai and Mae Hong Son.
